Dr. Michael Webber (PhD from Stanford University) is the Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Deputy Director of the Energy Institute, at the University of Texas at Austin.  He will be talking about the "Thirst for Power: Energy, Water, and Human Survival".  Please join the Stanford Alumni of Energy Professionals, the Houston Exponential and the MIT Enterprise Forum of Texas for this informative Lecture.  Webber offers a big-picture perspective that reveals the interdependence of the world’s two most critical resources--energy and water. In addition to identifying the seriousness of the challenges, he lays out an optimistic approach with an array of solutions.
