The Society of Plastics Engineers South Texas Chapter has invited the MIT Enterprise Forum of Texas to join them for a networking social (with food and beer) and a lecture on 3D printing Solvay Engineering Thermoplastics. 

Dan Ireland, North America Sales & Development Manager, Additive Manufacturing will be describing Additive Manufactuaring Solutions with Advanced Engineered Polymers:

     * Overview of Solvay AM strategy & process for developing optimized AM materials.

Dan has a thirty year career in the high performance polymers business with employment at Amoco Performance Polymers, BP Amoco, Gharda Polymers, & Solvay Specialty Polymers (last fifteen years). Spent time in manufacturing of high performance parts (injection molding with PAI/PEEK), Product Management (PAI), and extensive experience in new product development with all Solvay aromatic polymers  (PSU, PES, PPSU, PARA,PPA,PPS, LCP, SRP, PAI, PEEK, PAEK, PEKK). Market experience includes five years in EE, three years in Auto EE, & eight years in Oil & Gas. Co-inventor listed on four Solvay patents (including two for new PAI & PAEK polymer products). Resides in Tampa, FL.
